Privacy policy
Quiet by design. Honest about the boundary.
SerenVoice keeps public account identity out of Thoughts, Requests, and Calls. This policy explains the operational data the service still needs and where identity-private is not the same as anonymous.
Last updated 16 July 2026. SerenVoice is for adults aged 18 and over. Account deletion is permanent, subject to limited legal, safety, billing, and fraud-prevention retention.
Information we collect
SerenVoice collects the information needed to run and protect the service. This can include account and age-verification information, preferences, Thoughts, private call requests, call-session metadata, device push tokens, reports, blocks, subscription or call-credit status, and technical logs used for reliability and safety.
No public identity
SerenVoice uses authenticated accounts, but your account name, email address, account photo, and sign-in details are not shown to other users in Thoughts, Requests, or Calls. Identity-private does not mean unidentifiable: your voice, accent, speech patterns, surroundings, or details you share may still reveal who you are.
Thoughts and discovery
Thoughts are short, identity-private posts shown by topic. Discovery is based mainly on recency and the filters a user chooses rather than personalised ranking. Thoughts may expire, be deleted, become unavailable, or be removed for safety reasons. We may retain limited records where needed for abuse prevention, legal compliance, and service integrity.
Private requests and one-time calls
A user may privately request one voice call about a Thought. If the request is accepted and both people are ready, SerenVoice creates a one-time call. V1 does not create an ongoing message thread, permanent contact, or public interaction history after the call.
Call audio and Voice Veil
Calls are not recorded by default. SerenVoice may keep operational metadata such as participant account IDs, start and end times, duration, connection state, completion state, credit use, and related safety actions. Voice Veil changes microphone audio locally before publication where supported. It reduces recognisability but does not guarantee anonymity. Preview audio is temporary and is not intended to be uploaded or retained.
Local data and retention
The app may keep short-lived local copies of settings, active-call state, call or request summaries, and temporary audio needed to complete a feature. SerenVoice removes or expires local data according to its purpose, purges temporary call audio, and clears account-scoped data when you sign out. Safety, billing, fraud-prevention, and legal records may be retained longer where necessary.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, SerenVoice may store a device push token and send identity-private updates about requests, readiness, calls, credits, account activity, and safety. Notification text is written to avoid exposing another user’s identity or sensitive Thought content on a lock screen.
Safety, reports, and blocks
If you report or block someone, SerenVoice may store the related account IDs, Thought or call reference, reason, note, timestamps, and limited operational context. This information is used to investigate harm, prevent repeated contact, enforce rules, and protect users.
Service providers
SerenVoice relies on carefully selected providers for services such as authentication and databases, voice calls, subscriptions and purchases, push notifications, app delivery, diagnostics, and website hosting. These providers process data only as needed for their role and under their own security and privacy obligations.
Permanent account deletion
Account deletion is designed to be permanent. When you confirm deletion, SerenVoice removes the authentication account and cleans up or anonymises associated product data, except for limited information we must retain for safety, fraud prevention, billing, legal compliance, or resolving disputes. Deleted accounts cannot be restored through a soft-delete recovery flow.
Adults only and your choices
SerenVoice is for adults aged 18 and over. You can choose whether to post a Thought, send or accept a request, enable notifications, use Voice Veil, leave a call, report or block someone, restore purchases, sign out, or permanently delete your account.
Security and contact
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the service, but no online system can guarantee complete security or anonymity. Avoid sharing information that could identify you or place you at risk. For privacy questions or safety concerns, contact voiceseren@gmail.com.
