Terms
Keep it human.
These Terms explain the rules and risks of using Seren. Please read them before posting a Spark or starting a call.
Important: Seren connects adults for live anonymous conversations. You are responsible for your own interactions, boundaries, and safety. Seren is not an emergency, therapy, medical, legal, or crisis service.
Acceptance of these terms
By using Seren, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website. Seren may update these Terms as the product changes.
Adults only
Seren is only for people who are 18 years old or older. By using Seren, you confirm that you are at least 18. Do not use Seren if you are under 18.
What Seren is
Seren lets adults post anonymous temporary Sparks and request short live voice conversations. Seren is designed for presence, not permanence. There are no public profiles, follower counts, likes, comments, or message histories.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for what you post, say, request, and do on Seren. You agree not to use Seren to harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, discriminate, sexually exploit, share illegal content, encourage harm, invade privacy, spam, manipulate, or otherwise harm another person.
User interactions and risk
Seren connects you with other users you do not know. Conversations may be emotional, uncomfortable, inaccurate, offensive, or harmful. Seren cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, behavior, advice, or safety of any user. You should use judgment, protect your privacy, and leave or report any conversation that feels unsafe.
No professional or emergency service
Seren is not therapy, crisis support, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, emergency response, or a substitute for professional help. If you are in danger, crisis, or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a trusted professional support service.
Temporary content
Sparks and calls are designed to disappear from the user experience. Do not rely on Seren to store important information. We may keep limited records where needed for safety, abuse prevention, service operations, legal compliance, or debugging.
Safety actions
Seren may remove Sparks, reject requests, end calls, restrict accounts, block users from contacting each other, investigate reports, or take other action if we believe it helps protect users, the product, or the wider community.
No guarantee of availability
Seren may be interrupted, unavailable, delayed, or fail to connect a call. We do not guarantee that Sparks will receive requests, that calls will connect, or that the app will always work without errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Seren is not liable for harm, loss, damages, distress, disputes, content, conduct, advice, or interactions caused by users or by your use of the service. You use Seren at your own risk.
Account restrictions and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Seren if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created risk, abused the service, or harmed another user.
Third-party services
Seren may rely on third-party providers for authentication, hosting, push notifications, database services, and voice calls. Their services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
Changes to Seren
Seren is still evolving. Features, limits, safety tools, availability, and policies may change over time.
